This is a composite I made with the X-Plus Large Monster Series Mechagodzilla 1974 composited into a scene from the movie. Read more to see how it was done.
X-Plus will soon ship the new Toho 30cm Series Godzilla 1962 vinyl figure to those who pre-ordered it. If you missed out on this figure, NOW would be the time to scope the internets (Ebay, Yahoo Japan, etc.) to try and grab him as the prices will be as sane as they ever get. As you know, it doesn’t take long for aftermarket prices to soar to… INsanity.
If you need help deciding, see my Review on the X-Plus Godzilla 1962 original release.
They may have come from different movies but these two look great together! From director Shūsuke Kaneko’s “Gamera 2: Attack of Legion”, 1996 (ガメラ2 レギオン襲来) and “Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack”, 2001 (ゴジラ・モスラ・キングギドラ 大怪獣総攻撃).
X-Plus seems to be releasing the New Generation Ultraman figures in order of appearance. Tiga came out earlier this year. (Click here for my Tiga Review.) And in May, X-Plus released Ultraman Dyna. Gaia will be an October release. But back to Dyna: as usual it looks amazing. From little crinkles in the suit to the tiny facets of the crystalline eyes. When they sing “Wow, Wow, Dyna!” in the theme song, I think they must be singing about this figure.
