Ted Ekering’s X-Plus Sakai ’91 Diorama Shots from Japan

PHOTO: "DAWN GOJI" BY TED EKERING I just got an email from new Godzilla fan and current Okayama, Japan resident, Ted Ekering. He says that he's discovered X-Plus by reading Kaiju Addicts. That's kray kray! He had chosen the Toho 30cm Series Yuji Sakai Modelling Collection Godzilla 1991 as his first figure. (Don't anyone tell him that it's all downhill from here!) Lucky for us, Ted already has a collection of TomyTec and KATO N-Scale buildings which he's used previously for Gundam model kit dioramas. PHOTO: "SEARCHING" BY TED EKERING Low angles really sell the shot! PHOTO: "TOWER DRAMA" BY TED EKERING Ted put the TomyTec Electrical Towers kit to good use here. I can't wait for Ted to get his hands on more X-Plus and take more diorama pics! Click here to read the Kaiju Addicts primer to collecting N-Scale Buildings!

You can scatter them between figures on the shelves. Or, you can create entire dioramas using not only N Scale buildings but environment elements like hills and trees. Plus, toy photographers can reach new levels of awesomeness by incorporating them into their shots. Having Godzilla on your shelf is cool. But having him tower over buildings is potentially cooler! N Scale buildings help make these 12-inch X-Plus vinyls feel a little bigger on the shelf. Click Here for the Article! […]
